Barefoot Republic Camp’s mission is to instruct, guide and love youth representing diverse racial, cultural and socio-economic backgrounds through a balanced program of artistic, athletic, action-adventure and team building activities. Barefoot creates a safe and nurturing environment where youth can come to appreciate each other for who they are in Christ. We believe this is an important step in bridging cultural gaps, building friendships and connecting the creation with the Creator. Our hope is that this experience will have an eternal impact on the individuals that participate and ultimately the communities in which they live.
We have camp throughout the summer at our very own camp facilities in Scottsville, KY. Throughout the year, we also have once a month gatherings called Barefoot Club, which take place in Nashville, TN.
Starting in Fall 2009, Barefoot goes global with our first ever Barefoot Ecuador!

World Mission Prayer League in Mazatlan, Mexico

"My husband and I have been called to serve as missionaries with the World Mission Prayer League in Mexico. One of the groups we work with is the Tierra Firme Youth Group (Firm Foundation). They are very similar to most youth groups in the United States, they study the Word together, fellowship together, break bread together, and serve together. Their desire to be action and word oriented ambassoadors of Christ can be seen in and through each one of them. Thanks to the blessing of Youth Ministry Architects the Tierre Firme Youth Group has just started using the Spice Rack Curriculum! This is an amazing gift and that has opened doors for the youth to experience the Gospel in a very new, and hands on way. Praise the Lord for not just preparing youth to be the church of the future, but for using them right now, where they are, with the gifts they have!"
