WHAT MAKES A YMA CHURCH DIFFERENT?
A YMA church has been through an intentional assessment to determine its strengths, weaknesses and a clear timetable for its current transition.

A YMA church has a volunteer infrastructure in place.

A YMA church has a curriculum plan in place and resources selected through the end of the year.

A YMA church is led by a leadership team who has embraced the vision, values, goals and structure of the youth ministry.

A YMA church has matched the church's expectations with its budget and available staff.

A YMA church is led by a pastor who is not only committed to youth ministry but also understands what is required of churches that desire to build sustainable, deep-impact youth ministries.

The second listing includes Friends of YMA, churches that may have a sustainable structure in place, but about whom our team has no first hand knowledge.
